FOLIE A DEUX 13.40 Southwell

He is back over fences today off a mark of 96 which I feel he is definitely capable of being competitive. He ran well on his previous 2 runs this time both over hurdles. The ground was probably a little too soft for him first time out at Ayr and he would have needed the run a bit too. Last time out at Wetherby he jumped and travelled well and only faded very late to finish 8/18  in what was a very competitive 0-115 3m hurdle.

GREATOWN 15.10 Southwell

Being by Great Palm he sometimes struggles with his wind which is what I think happened to him at Sedgefield last time out in heavy ground. He jumped and travelled like the winner until fading before the last. I hope the better ground today may help him in that respect as he does have a level of ability and he should be very capable of winning in the grade he is currently in.

MAC STEAMY 15.45 Southwell

He has possibly been the most frustrating horse in the yard this season as he has more ability than what he has been showing on the track this season. He has struggled with a couple of bouts of dirty nose throughout the year but hopefully we are on top of that now and he can show his true colours today, he is another who I feel is potentially well handicapped although he will be better when he goes over fences next year.

All the runners I hope have got each way possibilities and it would be great if one of them could finish with their head in front!
