KYKATE GAINS SECOND SUCCESSIVE CHASE WIN

KYKATE notched up her second success over fences at Kelso on monday in the 0-120 novice handicap chase over 2 miles 1 furlong for her owners David Bithell Racing having opened her account on her previous run at Wetherby over 2 miles 4 furlongs.

She did it in really good style being ridden just in behind the pace all the way. She jumped and travelled really well under Charlie Huxley and hit the front going to the second last and stayed on strongly to win by a neck.

It was of no surprise to the yard as she has been running consistently well all season and the win at Wetherby was probably just the little extra confidence booster that she needed. She seems in good order and we will continue to look for opportunities for her until she tells us it is time for a break.
